Originally from Hamburg, Germany, I have moved to Melbourne in 2003 after traveling Australia for a while.
I have been a creative specialist for interactive brand and UX design, with more than 20 years of digital marketing and advertising experience in multiple media sectors and industry verticals.
Pioneering digital and interactive landscapes, my expertise includes content strategy and creative ideas for impactful storytelling and marketing campaigns in digital, mobile and social platforms. My main focus is to develop meaningful and engaging experiences for users with creative technology and compelling content.
I love working with different teams, leading and managing clients & stakeholders, developing & presenting concepts, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes. My expertise also covers creative direction, leading and collaborating with creative teams. strategists, writers, designers and developers.
And yes, the Hamburger origin traces back to Hamburg!

My approach
As a high collaborative and communicative person, I focus on stakeholder management, workshops, research interviews and creative brainstorms.
With the data, insights and reports at hand, I can use multiple tools to shape this towards the brief objectives.
From hand-drawn sketches, whiteboards and notes, I design initial wireframes using software like Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD which I then develop interactive prototypes with.
Using different research tools, including user interviews and -testing to optimise a product or service.
I’m also proficient in many other Adobe CC tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and AfterEffects, to name a few, to create branding designs, layouts and animations. Furthermore I use Keynote for my presentations of strategy or reporting documents.

Life is good
My other interests are in Photography, 360º video & imaging, VR and AR. I love traveling, being active and staying fit, and always curious about Arts $ Craft, Creative Technology, Music, Events and Entertainment.
I love what I’m doing, which makes it almost a blurred line between work and life.
Some of my side projects include a tourism app with interactive 360º video, an AR app for a children’s book and also an app to help with mental health issues.
